About Artwork:
Blue Rowboat is part of a series that explores issues of water use and environmental concerns, especially to raise awareness of the plight of the Los Angeles river. In the summer of 2023, I had sailed my handmade skiff on a deep section of the river, north of Sepulveda Dam. The resulting images were taken from particular locations, further visualized into what could be possible where our wetlands protected, a reimagined alluvial landscape to nurture habitat and the lost indigenous wildlife.
About Artist:
English-born, Eddington attended college at London's Central School of Art, then earned an MA in Social and Political Influence in Art from Trent University. A professor emeritus at Plymouth University UK, Eddington is a practicing painter with an international record of exhibitions who consistently shows work in England, the Netherlands, Spain and the U.S. He relocated to New Orleans in 1999 to teach at Loyola University, LSU Baton Rouge, and exhibit in public and private galleries. Eddington is now based in Venice CA; within the last two year's his paintings were included at Seoul's National Assembly Hall and the XX Biennial in Korea, and his two short films were shown at the Venice Biennale event Alive in the Universe. In California, the British Consulate of Los Angeles featured his work in a collection to mark the 2019 Academy Awards. He has also taught at CSU Long Beach and CSU Northridge and held solo and group shows in LA, Ventura, Inglewood and Torrance. Eddington continues to exhibit extensively, primarily large scale paintings in both acrylic and oils, works on paper, and site-specific assemblage.

Artwork will not be made available for pick up or delivery unless or until the Museum receives in clear funds all amounts payable to it.
With notice to Museum, you may elect to pick up the Artwork from the Museum’s main address at 307 Cliff Drive beginning Monday, March 3rd . Please call 949 494-8971 or artauction@lagunaartmuseum.org to schedule pick up.
Artworks remaining at Museum after March 9th that have not been arranged for pick will be sent to Elite Art Enterprises, LLC in the Los Angeles area to assist with delivery, installation, crating, shipping, storage or any other needs you might have in regard to transportation of your newly acquired artworks. Fees for the above services are set and collected by Elite Art Enterprises, LLC.

O: (562) 319-8060If you fail to make arrangements to retrieve artwork either by pick up or delivery after fifteen (15) business days of the Fall of the Hammer, the Museum will be entitled to exercise remedies available under the law.
Insurance: Once the hammer falls, the risk associated with the artwork is transferred to the buyer. Hence, the buyer is solely responsible for arranging insurance coverage for the artwork. The Museum does not provide transit insurance for artworks sold through auctions. If you request delivery of the artwork, the Museum will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused during transit.
