• Lot Description

  Henri De Toulouse-Lautrec (1864 - 1901) was active/lived in France. Portrait of Woman, graphite & watercolor on paper, site size 8.5" X 12". Outer frame size 17" X 20". Important Atlanta Collection, Clinton R. Shaw, Atlanta dealer associated with the Atlanta Art Gallery about 20 years ago. Purchased from family who originally purchased in Paris in the 1920's. The paper is intact with no tears but there is staining from previous tape along the top edge and color difference around the periphery from previous matting. Only about 1/4 inch on all sides is covered by the present mat and drawing is not laid down.
