  Hudson Mindell Kitchell Born: 1862 - Madison, New Jersey Died: 1944 - Providence, Rhode Island Known for: Nocturnal landscape and marine painting Landscape painter Painting is 26" H by 30 " W, Frame is 36" H by 41" W., unlined in excellent condition.  He painted dark, evening landscapes similar in style to those of Ralph Blakelock. Though Kitchell worked in many locales, he lived in New York City in 1924, exhibiting with the Society of Independent Artists during that decade.
