Lot Description

ca1850; England; Rustic flick stick (stiletto) with a fruit wood shaft with a brass shield shape cartouche. Flick the stick with an over arm action and a blade emerges from the brass cap and locks into place. In good working order and with glowing mellow patination. English, circa 1850. Height of cane 31 inches, 79 cm. Length of blade 4.5 inches, 11.5 cm. an unusual gravity flick stick with L shaped head handle
