Dated 1909- A signed 14 karat gold heavy handle engraved "Presented Governor Judson Harmon by Licking County Democrats 1909", the machined handle has been threaded so it can be removed from the thick ebony shaft, it was not common for this threading to happen except in very expensive gold canes. The owner would go to an event and instead of checking his cane he would only check the shaft and put the handle in his pocket to avoid theft. Also with this lot is an original campaign button. There is probably more than $1,000 worth of 14 karat gold in this cane. H.- 1 3/4" x 1 7/8" O.L.- 35 1/2"
Each auction has different shipping terms but the buyer always pays.
