Ca. 1880 - An adorable Meiji mixed metal handle artistically fashioned on fine bronze and covered with an attractive orange accent enamel on the fruit and partially gilded on the leaves, it is elaborated with a meticulous technique that only the Japanese could reach, it depicts two monkeys and two crabs mounted on a fruit tree, astonishing detail, fruitwood shaft and a bi-metal ferrule, cane in excellent condition.
