Dated 1885 - Gold presentation handle engraved "A R Matthews MILWAUKEE, WIS 1885", Matthews Brothers Furniture Co. is best known for manufacturing furniture for Milwaukee Pabst Mansion and for making pieces designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, floral and foliage designed on tau shaped handle, beautiful lacquered snakewood shaft and gold metal ferrule.
