- Lot Description
ca1892; "La Diabolic" (The Devilish); all metal with curved nails coming out the side to shred the hand of the attacker; possibly the most dangerous of the defense canes with nine steel spikes that appear from the shaft by pulling; in use, you thrust the cane towards your opponent who would grab the cane and then as you pulled it back the steel spikes would lacerate your opponents hand and a simple tap on the floor makes it all go away; the crook handle is of metal and the band on the shaft twists to safely lock the mechanism which does not operate unless handle is quarter turned.
