ca1800; (o.l. 92cm); Pacific Ocean; The sword is a recycled rapier blade dated 1747, it is a high quality steel blade 0,76 cm. long with a makers mark, it is encapsulated inside a very unusual knitted surface probably cotton fibers protected with a hard resin, it has a metal ferrule. O.L. 92 cm. No chips or cracks, Perfect condition. The shaft has an early copper and blackened repair. H.- 2" x 1 3/4" .
