Blue and white transfer decoration with three vignettes of a Chinoiserie landscape version of Willow pattern, the interior rim with a stylized foliate scroll diaper-pattern band, the basin inscribed with "By Pipe & Pot / we banish fear, / Sorrow drown / & kill Old Care" within a heart swag border, painted monogram 'WR'.
