American School Naïve Full-Length Portrait of Boy with a Book Oil on Canvas 46 x 26 ½ inches Estimate: $10,000-20,000 Provenance: Descended in the Wheeler family of Stonington, Connecticut; Purchased from a direct descendant by the present owner circa 1985. This lot is accompanied by a chatelaine hook in coin silver engraved R.M.W. with a raised sheaf of wheat motif that descended with the painting in the Wheeler family of Stonington, Connecticut.
