Pewabic 1920s Vintage Art Pottery Hand Made Purple Iridescent Ceramic Vase Timeless classically shaped Pewabic vase with a stunning iridescent purple mirror like glaze. Excellent condition. Small non showing professional restoration to a nick at the base edge. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Pewabic Detroit logo. Vase is 5" tall and 5 1/2" wide. Pewabic Pottery, founded in 1903 in Detroit, Michigan, stands as a cornerstone of the American Arts and Crafts movement. Renowned for its innovative use of iridescent glazes, Pewabic developed a glazing technique that mirrored the lustrous finishes of ancient ceramics, infusing their pieces with an almost ethereal quality.
