A framed ink on paper comic strip published in the New York World-Telegram in 1940, titled "Priceless Loot" and signed by Will B. Johnstone and Betty Hallman. The strip was created in response to the news item stated at the top: "Man offers reward to burglar who stole his cuff buttons. Begs return of the articles, which, he says, have a great sentimental value." Johnstone has signed and inscribed in one of the cells "To Gypsy Rose Lee the gayest 'trooper' I've ever met in show biz. Good luck and continued success. Will B. Sept 4th, 1940." Johnstone was a cartoonist who also wrote for the Marx Brothers' Broadway shows and films.
