A mustard yellow military jacket, trousers, and cap worn by Sid Caesar while playing a German general in a skit titled "The German General" from Caesar's Hour (NBC, 1954-1957) co-starring Howie Morris, who plays Caesar's valet. Caesar and Morris perform double-talk in the skit, where they mimic a foreign language with gibberish. The fold-over jacket has decorated medals hanging on the left chest, with gold tassels and a dangling gold rope on the left epaulet. Both the jacket and trousers have Eaves Costume Co. labels.
