A full military costume worn by Richard Crenna, who plays Colonel Sam Trautman in the first installment of the Rambo series First Blood (Anabasis Investments, N.V., 1982). Crenna wears the costume in a bar scene with Teasel, played by Brian Dennehy, and in the final scene when he comes face to face with John Rambo, played by Sylvester Stallone, after Rambo kills Teasel. The costume includes a light green dress shirt with dark green tie, olive green trousers with a black vertical stripe, a decorated military jacket with a plastic name tag that reads "Trautman," an olive green belt, and a military cap. Together with an additional shirt and tie. Both shirts have Van Heusen labels, are stamped "16 1/2" and "35," and one has "USA" handwritten by the label; the jacket has a Davis Clothing Co. label with "#1" handwritten in the inside pocket; the trousers have "#1" handwritten on the label; and the cap has a Bancroft Military Caps label. Kirk Douglas had initially been outfitted for the role of Trautman but left due to an issue with the script. Accompanied by a copy of the film.
PROVENANCE From the Estate of Richard Crenna
