- Lot Description
A custom-made two-piece ensemble worn by Mia Farrow in her Golden Globe nominated role in Rosemary's Baby (Paramount, 1968). The petal pink ensemble consists of a baby doll maternity dress with a silky cream bodice with a bow to the empire waistline and a skirt of textured natural fibers with a corresponding bolero jacket with cream Peter Pan collar and lining. A Paramount dry cleaning tag is present. Anthea Sylbert's costume designs for this film continue to influence international fashion collections. Rosemary's Baby was inducted by the Library of Congress into the National Film Registry in 2014. Accompanied by a copy of the film.
