Figures on a pathway with a seascape in the distance, oil on panel. Signed on the lower left and dated 1937 on a label on the verso. James Humbert Craig (Irish, 1878-1944) was an esteemed painter of Irish landscapes known for their muted tones. He was elected to both Irish Academies, the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) and the Royal Ulster Academy (RUA).
