- Lot Description
An ivory skirt suit worn in the wedding sequence by Madonna in her Golden Globe-winning role as Eva Peron in Evita (Cinergi Pictures, 1996). The ribbed suit comprises a tailored jacket with faille collar, cuffs and decorative half bow with a slender-fitting skirt. Both pieces have labels that read "Madonna." Costume design by Penny Rose. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won one. Accompanied by a lace trimmed handkerchief, a copy of the film, and a letter of authenticity signed by Tim Lawes, General Manager of Prop Store of London.
