- Lot Description
A pink and white crepe bias-cut dress circa 1930s worn by Madonna while rehearsing for her Golden Globe-winning role as Eva Peron in Evita (Cinergi Pictures, 1996). This dress was used as a pattern for the pink polkda dot dress Madonna wears in the film. A Palace Costume label is present. Costume design by Penny Rose. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won one. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Melody Barnett of Palace Costume Company.
