- Lot Description
An ivory jersey halter gown worn by Madonna in her Golden Globe-winning role as Eva Peron in Evita (Cinergi Pictures, 1996). The figure-hugging bias cut gown has gold lamé swirls woven into the fabric. A Palace Costumes label is present. Costume design by Penny Rose. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won one. Accompanied by a copy of the film and a certificate of authenticity signed by Melody Barnett of Palace Costume Company.
