- Lot Description
A floral printed dress worn by Madonna in her Golden Globe-winning role as Eva Peron in Evita (Cinergi Pictures, 1996). The slim-fitting dress has scattered blossoms in shades of plum and daffodil yellow with bouquets of violets. The silky dress has three-quarter sleeves with draping to the hip line. A Palace Costumes label is present. Costume design by Penny Rose. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won one. Accompanied by a copy of the film and a certificate of authenticity signed by Melody Barnett of Palace Costume Company.
