A vintage gelatin silver photograph of Ernest Hemingway, inscribed "To Margi Bridge/ Let them call it mischief/ when it is past and prospered/ it will be virtue/ and tomorrow/ and tomorrow/ and tomorrow/ Best always/ Papa/ Ernest Hemingway," and signed to the lower left "Cano" for the photographer Francisco Cano. The photograph was reportedly taken in the garden of Cayetano Ordonez, the father of bullfighter Antonio Ordonez, and signed a few weeks before Hemingway's suicide. Contains numerous stamps on the verso for the photographer Cano.
