- Lot Description
A dinner jacket worn by Jim Backus in his role as Thurston Howell III in Gilligan’s Island (CBS, 1964-1967). The jacket is crème, with a single button closure, shawl lapels, and three exterior pockets, with Western Costume Co. typed label that reads "No. 2691-1/ Name Jim Backus #1/ Chest 44 Sleeve 18" and stamped on interior “W.C. Co./ #38.” Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the Comisar Collection Inc. Accompanied by a Gilligan's Island DVD showing Backus in the same or similar jacket.
