- Lot Description
A clapperboard from the Steven Spielberg directed film Empire of the Sun (Amblin, 1987). Labeled on white gaffer's tape to the lower edge "6th June '87 Day-Exterior" and on the verso "'Empire of the Sun/ Grey-Scale." The clapperboard, with its handpainted titling, can clearly be seen in a still from the documentary on the making of film.
