- Lot Description
An oil on canvas landscape depicting a pair of cows in a pasture. Signed and dated to lower right and titled and dated on verso. Together with a handwritten note signed by Stanley Kubrick to John Calley from May 1975, with an accompanying exhibition catalog of Kubrick's wife Christiane's work, including the piece offered here. Also includes an original telegram and invoice for three artworks shipped to Calley and the May 1975 issue of Arts Review magazine featuring Christiane's work on the cover.
