A group of five books inscribed to Sid Caesar by the authors: Sherwood Schwartz's Inside Gilligan's Island, signed on the title page "Sid, I stroll down memory land, Schwartz"; Selected Stories of Sholom Aleichem, inscribed presumably by Aleichem's grandson, who writes "Sholom Aleichem would have understood and appreciated you - I know his grandson does"; David Levy's The Chameleons, inscribed "Dear Sid - you qualify as one of those in the dedication - David Levy April 30, 1969"; Roy Doliner's For Love or Money, signed by Doliner and dated "Oct 1974" with a note to Caesar from the publisher's house; and Helen Bolton's The Naked Clay with a note on the loose endpaper from the author, dated September 4, 1954, reading in part, "I do hope that you find many enjoyable reading moments."
