NICOLÁS GUZMÁN: (Xalapa, Veracruz, 1983). Licenciado en Artes Plásticas por la Universidad Veracruzana. Radica en Oaxaca, donde es catedrático y dirige el proyecto “Gorgona”. Ha sido seleccionado en la Bienal de Arte Universitario de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (2003 y 2005), en el Concurso de Pintura “El maíz” del Centro Cultural Jaime Sabines, en Chiapas, y en la Segunda Bienal de Artes Gráficas “Shinzaburo Takeda”. Obtuvo la beca del Fondo Estatal para la Cultura y las Artes de Veracruz (2007, 2009 y 2011). Fue artista invitado del programa de intercambio de la Universidad Clear Lake, Houston, Texas. Ha participado en diversas exposiciones colectivas y festivales de arte, destacan: “Exposición del Taller de Grabado de la Universidad Veracruzana (UV)”, en la Universidad de Artes y Música de Tokio, Japón; “Mórbido”, en Galería Quetzalli, Oaxaca; “Penumbra”, en Casa Mezcal, Nueva York; “Carpeta de color. Gráfica veracruzana”, en el Instituto de Artes Gráficas de Oaxaca (IAGO); y las ferias: “Floración”, en Colonia, Alemania; “Zona MACO” con Cooperativa La Joplin, en Ciudad de México; “Multiplicado”, Christies, en Londres, Inglaterra. De manera individual ha expuesto su obra en varios estados de la República Mexicana. Con sus creaciones, este artista busca mostrar y llevar al espectador a lugares desconocidos. En la atmósfera de su obra habitan lazos de colores flotantes en un aparente caos visual. Recurre a elementos poéticos para canalizar sus ideas en torno a los procesos de transformación de la vida y la muerte. Le interesa el espacio negativo tanto como los efectos de la luz, el color y el movimiento.

COLLECTION, REMOVAL AND STORAGE
Following the Auction, Buyers must remove all Lots from the Auction site.
Buyers must provide their own packing materials and their own assistants for the removal of lots. If not removed timely by Buyer, in addition to any and all other remedies and rights JP AUCTIONS may have, JP AUCTIONS shall have the right to remove any Lot at Buyer’s sole risk and expense and store it, at Buyer’s expense, including removal, storage, transportation and handling expenses and costs and applicable taxes, at a third-party warehouse, and Buyer hereby grants JP AUCTIONS an irrevocable power of attorney to remove and store such Lots at Buyer’s expense.
EXPORT PERMITS
The Buyer is responsible for determining whether or not an export permit is required to export a Lot and for obtaining and paying the costs of any permits or licenses necessary to export any Lot from MEXICO or any other country where it is registered and/or import it into any other country, and for the payment of any import duty that may be levied by the country of import. JP AUCTIONS makes no representation or warranty of any kind with regard to whether or not any Lot can be exported or imported or the issuance of an export or import permit for any Lot.
