Today it is considered the most valuable and rare work in a single exemplar, which has a museum and historical significance and is considered one of the best in the collection for true connoisseurs of Russian lacquer miniatures. The box has two compartments and one secret compartment. On the inside of the box there is an inscription: “To Fyodor Ivanovich and Claudia Vasilievna Kalinin, on April 30, 1895 from painters and craftsmen of the factory Lukutin.” The inscription on the inside of the lid speaks about the peculiarity and value of this box, which confirms the gift for the wedding of factory workers to their owner. There is accurate information that Fedor Kalinin, 1861. Birthday, worked as a personal clerk at the Lukutin factory from the end of 1880 until the beginning of the 1900s, who was considered the second person after the owner of the factory. To this day, his personal account and documents in the Russian Fedoskino Museum have been preserved, which confirm his long activities in the Lukutin factory. Fedor Kalinin lived in the village of Danilkovo, where the four buildings of the Lukutin factory workshops were located. Kalinin distributed and accepted the work of collectors and artists, accepted the order, paid for the work, reported to the owner when he brought the finished goods to Moscow for sale in the N.A.Lukutin store in his own house on Tverskaya Street.
