  Group of five works on paper: ''Hopi Wedding'', signed and with copyright symbol lower right: Paul Coze, titled lower right, ball point pen on paper, paper size: 8.5'' H x 11'' W; Indian woman with cornstalk on chest, signed lower left; Paul Coze, ball point pen and acrylic on paperboard, board size: 11.75'' H x 9'' W; surrealist Indian woman with long hair, signed in ball point pen lower right: Paul Coze, charcoal and sanguine chalk on paper, image size: 13.5'' H x 10.5'' W; Nude woman in profile, signed by the artist's wife for the estate lower right: Paul Coze by K.   Condition

  Each: Generally good condition. ''Hopi Wedding'': Very minor soiling. The paper rippled due to the ink. Indian woman with cornstalk: Executed on the back paperboard of a watercolor paper book. Partial perforated upper edge. Paper tape along the lower edge. Extreme corners slightly bent. Surrealist Indian woman: Very minor toning and soiling. A spot of stain along the left center margin edge. Affixed to the mat with paper tape along the upper edge and in the lower corner. Nude women in profile: Mat burn. Minor toning and soiling. Affixed to the back mat with masking tape along the upper edge and in the lower corners. ''Woman'': Scattered paint yellowing. Affixed to the mat with clear adhesive tape along the upper edge and in the lower center.

  • The packing and handling of purchased lots by John Moran Auctioneer’s staff at the auction is undertaken solely as to customers. There is no charge for packing material and labor supplied to you on the evening of the sale. In no event will JMA be liable damage to painting, glass or frames regardless of cause in connection with this free service.
     
    JMA may, in our discretion and as a service to buyers, arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured and forwarded at the request, expense risk of the buyer. JMA assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, whether recommended by JMA. Nor does JMA assume any responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein. In circumstances JMA arranges and bills for such services via invoice or credit card, JMA will include an administration charge.
     
    In the case of JMA personally delivering an item, if an item cannot be delivered in condition equal to the existent condition at the time of should any item be mis delivered, stolen or lost prior to delivery, JMA‚s liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the buyer at the auction. Buyers are strongly encouraged to view all items auctioned on display before the auction to determine the true condition of items of interest.
