- Lot Description
''The Cherry Pickers'', children picking cherries near a seated dog, unsigned, titled on the frame plaque, oil on canvas laid to muslin, 29'' H x 23.5'' W, est: $10,000/15,000 Provenance: Private Collection, Studio City, CA
Condition
Visual: Some minor, stable craquelure scattered throughout. The tacking edges removed when lined. Very minor specks of loss along the cut edges. Blacklight: A 1'' area of over paint on the ground in the lower center. Touch-up and overpaint on the dog's chest. A few scattered specks of touch-up throughout the figural group, on the tallest boy's hair and along his left upper arm. Possible touch-up and overpaint restoration along the right edge extending approximately 2.5'' in from the edge and scattered in the lower left. Difficult to read under blacklight.
