20th century, apparently unsigned, a hand-stitched, embroidered and painted silk and velvet tapestry of Spanish galleons on the high seas, 78'' H x 72'' W, est: $600/800 Provenance: Private Collection, Santa Barbara, CA
Condition
Overall good condition, with general minor wear, yellowing and scattered losses to velvet commensurate with age, including an approximately 1.5'' x 1'' loss to cream fabric below ship.
