'Sangre de Christo Mountains'': Generally good condition. Mounted into an unevenly hand cut front mat with tape along the upper edge and in the lower corners. Young Taos Indian man: Paper with water damage rippling and staining in the upper two thirds, primarily in the background and along the four edges. The paper affixed to the back mat in the lower third. Toning throughout and light struck in the sight area due to previous matting. A horizontal line of rubbing on the figure's hair in the upper center. Minor soiling. Taos Indian man: Soiling throughout and minor toning. Artist's pinholes in the upper corners. The paper loose, not matted or framed. Taos Indian man in profile: Toning and minor soiling throughout. The upper left corner bent. Artist's graphite guide lines in the corners.
