Mid-20th century, the first: signed ''Schulps'' for maker John Schulps (1940-2010 Calabasas, CA), a speckle-glazed pottery pitcher with abstract linear decoration to body (8.625'' H x 8'' W x 6.25'' D); the second: incised ''G164 / Robert Maxwell'' with copyright symbol, a wide-mouthed animal pottery figure, on short peg feet (3.5'' H x 3.75'' W x 3.75'' D); the third: with incised maker's mark of Hal Fromhold verso, a tall slender double-necked vase with raised decoration (13.5'' H x 3.5'' W x 2.375'' D); the fourth: signed ''Martin / 6'', a small pinched partially-glazed pottery vase (3.5'' H x 4'' W x 3'' D''), 4 pieces, est: $400/600 Provenance: Private Collection, Altadena, CA
Overall good condition. The second with an approximately .25'' x .25'' nick to glaze on one leg. The third with light abrasions around rim of each neck.
