Handgebundener blauer Ganzmaroquineinband mit Ecklfleurons mit roten Ledereinlagen, mehrfachen goldgeprägten Fileten und vierpassigen Mittelstück mit Girlandenvergoldung. Steh- und Innenkantenvergoldung und Innendeckel mit blauen Maroquin. Rücken mit reicher Goldprägung und goldgeprägter Verzierung. Kopfgoldschnitt. Innendeckel mit reicher Bandvergoldung im Art Nouveau Stil und Moiré Seide. Signiert Maison Quantin u. Charles Meunier. Blue-grey morocco, tooled in gold with red onlays. On the covers a polygonal onlaid borderof dark blue morocco, bordered by double fillets with on the corners an abstract flower with red onlays. In the centre a polygonal oval shaped ornament formed by 4 fillets surrounded by a dotted line with 4 abstract flowers with onlays. Spine with 5 raised bands. Title in compartment 2, the other compartments with an abstract flower with onlays in a polygonal onlayed dark blue frame bordered by 2 double fillets with leafs on the corners. Board edges with a double fillet. Turn ins with an arch-flower roll. Doublures of heaven blue morocco, with a polygonal border onlayed with black morocco and bordered by a double fillet, crossed by a rectangular border formed of 4 parallel fillets. First end leaf of heaven blue watered silk, second flyleaf opening of marbled paper. Endbands of green, red and yellow silk. Multicoloured ribbon marker. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Original wrapper bound in. signed MAISON QUANTIN REL. and on lower doublure CH.
