Moderner HKalbsldr. im Stil der Zeit. Geology - Modern half calf in contemp. style. - With 50 copper engravings by Leonardis after de Bittio. Second set, the first was probably published in 1807 and was provided with a title page. - Sheet size: 47 x 33 cm. Plate size: Approx. 37 x 27 cm. - Splendid set of large-format engravings of the most extraordinary basalt mountains and caves in the world. Some of the plates were engraved by Ciacomo Leonardis (1723-1797) after paintings by Antonio de Bittio (1722-1797). - Minimally browned in margin.
