• Lot Description
  Russland Shcheglov, P. P. Ansicht des Moskauer Kreml. Moskau, 17. Mai 1888. Chromolithographie auf Papier. Sichtmaß 48 x 77 cm. Unter Passepartout und unter Glas gerahmt (ungeöffnet). Russia - View of the Moscow Kremlin. Moscow, 17 May 1888. Chromolithograph on paper. Framed under glass and passepartout (unopened). - Rare. Not verifiable for us in trade or auctions. - With title, date and localisation as well as publisher's address in Cyrillic script. - The large-sized lithograph shows a magnificent panorama of the Kremlin over the Great Moskva Bridge. In addition to the finely worked out architecture, it captivates through the artistic depiction of a dramatic sky, which bathes the view in a contrasting play of light and dark. - A comparable view can be found in J. Guthrie Watson's photo album "A Journey Across Russia" from 1889 which is in the collection of the National Gallery in Washington. - Tear in the right margin. Very few spots with insignificant stains. All in all with good colours and in good condition. Selten. Für uns im Handel und auf Auktionen nicht nachweisbar. - Mit Titelei, Datierung und Lokalisierung sowie Verlagsangaben in kyrillischer Schrift. - Die großformatige Lithographie zeigt ein prachtvolles Panorama des Kreml über die Große Moskwa-Brücke. Neben der fein ausgearbeiteten Architektur besticht sie durch die kunstvolle Darstellung eines dramatischen Himmelsbildes, welches die Ansicht in ein kontrastierendes Spiel von Licht und Dunkel taucht. - Eine vergleichbare Ansicht findet sich in J. Guthrie Watson's Photo-Album "A Journey Across Russia" aus dem Jahr 1889 welches sich in der Sammlung der National Gallery in Washington befindet. - Einriss im rechten Blattrand. Sehr vereinzelt unscheinbar fleckig. Insgesamt farbkräftig und wohlerhalten. * Dieses Werk ist regelbesteuert.
