• Lot Description
  Graf, Gottfried Expressionismus Gesang der Engel. 1918. Holzschnitt auf zartem Japanpapier. 39,4 × 29,8 cm (48,5 x 35,5 cm). Signiert. Gerahmt im Passepartout u. auf Unterlage punktuell montiert. - Partiell angeschmutzt und vereinzelt mit Braunflecken. Mit einer kleinen Fehlstelle u. kurzen Einrissen im weißen Rand (Motiv nicht betroffen). Abzug ist etwas unsauber, aber kontrastreich und satt. Woodcut on delicate Japanese paper. Signed. Framed in a passepartout, mounted on a backing in spots. - Partially soiled and with isolated brown spots. With a small loss and short tears in the white margin (subject not affected). Print is somewhat unclean, but rich in contrast and saturation.
