approximately 190, comprising a Bert Six/Warner Bros. 8" x 10" studio photo of Gary Cooper and Lauren Bacall, from a scene in "Bright Leaf"; an 8" x 10" National Screen Service Corp/Paramount Pictures publicity photo for "Here Come the Groom" featuring Bing Crosby, stamped to back "SEP 20, 1951"; an 8" x 10" photo of Bing Crosby, James Cagney, Kay Keyser, and possibly Hedy Lamar; a 3 1/2" x 5" autographed photo of Tom Drake; an autographed Beverly Sills postcard; and an autographed "Chingwah Lee / in MGM's / "The Good Earth" post card; and 185 postcards featuring many famous stars, including Shirley Temple and "Mr. Bojangles" Bill Robinson, Bette Davis, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, and Clark Gable. Also including "Porgy and Bess", "Destry Rides Again", "The Princess Pat" and "Hello Dolly" theatre advertising examples, Julian Eltinge Cold Cream advertising examples, "Quiz Kids" advertising/souvenir examples, and "Lum & Abner" advertising/souvenir examples. Some undivided backs, many unused. 20th century. Provenance: From the Dorothy R. Daniel estate, Arlington, VA.Very good condition overall, most postcards with minor edge and corner wear, some with minor staining, some with creases. Signed postcard with signature to face.
