Catalogue Note: Harvey Ford Reinhardt (1912-1960) and Enoch William Alexander Reinhardt (1903-1978) operated the Reinhardt Brothers Pottery from circa 1932-1937. Harvey opened his own shop in 1937, which he ran until 1942 when he left for WW II. Enoch continued running his own pottery until 1946. Burlon Craig bought Harvey Reinhardt's house, kiln, and shop.
The Mint Museum has a fine collection of Reinhardt pottery including a face pitcher that closely parallels this jug.
