- Lot Description
brilliant peacock blue, each thick-lipped socket with a compressed-knop lower extension, raised on a hexagonal knop and flared base, wafer construction. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and Patrick F. Slane's American Glass Co., South Boston, MA. 7 1/4" H, 4 1/4" DOA base. Circa 1840-1860.

Outstanding virtually proof condition, one with two pinhead nicks to lower edge of socket and a minor tool mark to one base corner, as made, the other with two minute base flakes and some normal roughness to underside of base associated with the snap ring, as made.Condition
