rich deep emerald green, each thick-lipped socket with a compressed-knop lower extension, raised on a hexagonal knop and flared base, wafer construction. One base of a slightly darker color due to thickness of glass. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and Patrick F. Slane's American Glass Co., South Boston, MA. 7 1/4" H, 4 1/4" DOA base. Circa 1840-1860.

Outstanding condition, one undamaged with a manufacturing chip/underfill to stem adjacent to wafer, as made, the other has a very shallow chip to top of socket, otherwise only a burst bubble to interior of socket and edge of base, as made.
