PAINT-DECORATED CAROUSEL ROUNDING BOARD, the scalloped edge board with a bold depiction of a elk. Original paint-decorated surface. Reserve. Probably from the workshops of Gustav Dentzel (Philadelphia, active 1867-1909). Fourth quarter 19th century. 33 3/4" HOA, 100" LOA.
Provenance: From a New York City collection.Condition
Good condition with minor wear to surface and probable loss of elements to ends.
