Jones No. 0 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E. F. JONES PATENT MAY 4, 1858 / REISSUE JAN. 11 1859", with a Merrill's air director, marked "MERRILL'S PATENT. JUNE 14. 1859", and an unusual colorless lip chimney with spiraling ribbed pattern. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 15" H to top of chimney, 7 3/8" H to top of collar, 3 1/2" SQ base. Third quarter 19th century.

Excellent undamaged condition, marble base with expected minor wear. Burner undamaged but will not tighten, each chimney rim with normal flakes/roughness, probably as made.
