colorless pyriform font with eight groups of ruby and opal loops, stamped brass stem and single-step marble base, No. 1 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a hinged E. Miller No. 1 lip burner with hinged cap refill feature adjacent to wick tube, thumbwheel marked "E MILLER MERIDEN CONN", cast brass Julius Ives tri-pod shade holder marked "PATD. JULY 18-65" on one petal, a colorless cone-form frosted and engraved shade with double-banded disk over a berry and foliage pattern decoration, and a colorless lip chimney. Condition
Outstanding undamaged condition, font with some minor high-point wear, marble base with expected minor wear/flakes. Shade fitter with a minute shallow flake to the outer edge which does not affect the profile and top with several shallow sliver flakes, probably as made, remaining components undamaged.
