FRENCH GILT-BRONZE AND PORCELAIN BELLE ÉPOQUE SEVRES- TYPE WALL SCONCES, of ovular form, with shell and dart molding surmounted by an undulating ribbon, terminating in a mask head, each now with two-arm candelabra, the molding framing porcelain plaques painted with blue bands, etched gilt bands, leaves and serpentines, centering two girls in a forested landscape. Pseudo-Sevres marks and impressed shape numbers to underside. Circa 1900-1920. 25 1/4" H, 11 3/8" W.
Provenance: From a Boston, MA private collection.
One with loss of center candle arm and other with front of center detached but present, otherwise undamaged, one plaque with a few light scratches.
