colorless, conical font cut with a band of strawberry diamonds and fans above fluted panels, raised on a hollow globular knop with cut diagonal slashes, short stem, and an unusual ringed-dome square base with complex scalloped edge, concave corners, and prism interior with central star, dome with a ring of dots, lower step with a ring of dots and a single raised rosette to each corner, triple bladed wafer construction. Later brass No. 1 fine-line collar. United States. 11 3/4" H, 4" SQ base. Circa 1828-1835.

Very good overall condition, font and standard undamaged, base with a sizable vertical chip to one side and two corners, along with several other chips/flakes/roughness to scallops.
