colorless, bulb-form font raised on a square lacy base with open petal top, interior with stippling, tiny leaves, beads, and prisms, factory ground under base, ringed wafer construction. Fitted with a period tin and cork drop-in double-tube burner. Possibly Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 8 3/4" H to top of opening, 3 1/4" SQ base. Circa 1835-1840.
