EXTREMELY RARE AUGUSTA CO., SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA FEDERAL WALNUT SPICE / VALUABLES CHEST, the rectangular top over a hinged fielded-panel door above a single drawer fitted with likely original turned wooden pulls, raised on finely turned feet. Interior fitted with four valanced cubbies over six half drawers above a single full drawer, each with original brass ring pulls. Poplar secondary wood. Old surface with warm, mellow color. Circa 1820. 28 1/2" H, 21 3/4" W, 11" D.
