of globular form on foot, with strap handle and straight spout, the cover with applied onion-form knop; painted in typical Prattware hues with a brown band and line above a bold peafowl nestled among stylized branches with green brushed foliage, the verso and cover with foliate clusters, and a serpentine brown line to handle and spout. Unmarked. Circa 1800-1820. 4 1/4" H.
