the body of tapering cylindrical form, with ring-handles molded in high-relief below the upper edge, the lightly-domed cover with globular knop on stepped base; both sides of the body painted with bold and colorful peafowl standing on brown branches surrounded by green-sponged foliage, the cover painted with clusters of brown branches and green-sponged leaves, ocher and blue band decoration toward edges. Unmarked. Circa 1800-1820. 6" H.
